Here's a list of the fights i will be covering from across the world this month on the Fightscorecollector. I'm very happy to resume normal service as i recently got married and i missed a few weeks of fights. I start my month with 2 big domestic fights featuring Tyson Fury and Tony Bellew before staying up to see if Brandon Rios can capture the WBA 135lbs belt.
The week later I'm covering 4 fights from Denmark , the UK and from the USA as i take in James De Gale , Anthony Crolla , Abner Mares and Anselmo Moreno's next fights.
I finish my month with a 175lb Title double header from the UK and USA as Bernard Hopkins rematches Chad Dawson and Nathan Clevery makes a quick return to the ring to defend his WBO Title. So in April there are 9 fights I'm covering and hopefully will be able to add my scores from the ESPN FNF's and other fights that i see from around the world.

Moses Parted By Battler Burns
Ricky Burns vs Paulus Moses -WBO Lightweight Title
Well there were many doubters beforehand but once again Ricky Burns proved he is a genuine World Class operator by winning nearly every round against former WBA Titlist Paulus Moses. Braehead Arena was filled to its 6000 capacity as the Scottish fans came out in force to see their local Boxing hero. Burns started the fight as expected with a very high tempo , he was able to keep the Namibian challenger off him quite easily as he mixed his punches well to the body and head. Moses was dangerous though as when he trapped the champion on the ropes he was able to belt away and cause some damage. It was Burns work rate though that was the deciding factor right through the fight as anytime Moses landed a good punch Burns landed 2 or 3.
After the fight Moses and his camp were a bit annoyed by the wide scorecards but just about every score collected from the press and the media had Burns a big winner. Some thought that the fight was a little boring because each round was just about the same as the previous ones but Burns fought very well. He covered up when he needed to ,fought on the inside , lead with his right and controlled the fight with his long jab. Moses best round was the 6th where he was able to land some big shots which actually hurt the champion for a split second. Burns would later say that Moses hurt him a few times and that he gave him a "dead " arm in which he had to battle the last 3 rounds with.
Ricky Burns will now move onto to bigger and better things as he has now given Promoter Frank Warren a nice headache as Warren will now need to decide where the upcoming Ricky Burns vs Kevin Mitchell fight will take place because of the large crown that filled the Braehead Arena. As the champion Ricky should be DEMANDING that the fight is in Scotland AND at his local football stadium (Airdrie Utd) as they have a 10 Thousand capacity that would easily be packed to the rafters.
Below as always is my scorecard along with all the Press and fans scores from Saturday night.
